92 Bonney Radiator problem
Yesterday, while the wife is out on errands, the water temp gauge redlines to 280. She got it home, I opened the hood and steam is blowing out the top right side of the radiator. Appears to coming out of a threaded brass connection right below the radiator hose.
Is that a pressure release valve that can be replaced or should I be thinking of replacing the radiator, considering it's got 130K miles on it. Would like some advice before I have the car towed to my repair shop. TIA, Bob |

Re: 92 Bonney Radiator problem
Check out the thermostat. If it never turns on the coolant will only cycle inside of the engine.
Does your fans turn on? I beleive the fans are controlled by a different sensor though. |
