Airaid TBI Spacer Causing Tranny Shift Problems?

I had installed the spacer some time ago, and I noticed that the tranny had been shifting harder ever since. It seems to be holding the gears out longer, and it slams into gear when it shifts. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it because the volume within the TBI has been changed? Any fixes?

Thanks

Check the transmission cable to TBI.
If unpluged hook it back up and it may need adjusted.

There should be a TV cable from transmission to TBI.
Have a good look at it.
Somebody may have left it off or unhooked.
It needs to be hooked up and working for your transmission tomlive to a ripe old age and shift right.

Oh, ok, I found out what you were talking about. The throttle valve cable. I thought you were talking about an electronic wire or somthing. Ill adjust it tommorow and let you know how it went.

Thanks for your help.

Glad you got it going good.
They just will not work right or last long without that cable hooked up and adjusted good.
It controls the transmission pressure.
Also a good clean filter and fluid will give it a longer life to.
Good Luck
