#1 Sammy Swindell Sprintcar 2006

Well it has finally been finished. The base kitset was the Revell Steve Kinser Quaker state sprintcar, and has been transformed into the 2006 Sammy Swindell sprinter that was brought to Australia and New Zealand.

The decals are made by Clay Kemp, and are brilliant to work with! No problems at all, they look fantastic, big thanks to Clay for those, and the guys at Scalesprints (http://www.scalesprints.com/forum/) they have been a huge help, there are some really good modellers on there, and the amount of photos and everything needed for additional detail is there in abundance. Big up's to Joe for keeping it going.

Car has had some wiring done to the engine, and was painted in a TS spraybomb (french blue), simple harness kitset was belted into the car, and scratchbuilding of things such as leg braces, new seat and mounts, helmet net, front wing, wing stays were added to make it more of a custom build.
