temporarily fixed t-top rattling

i finally got fed up with my rattling ttops so i took off the covers and found that most of the noise comes from the latches hitting against the metal openings. so i simply took some electrical tape and put two strips on the latch where it meets the opening and it fixed the rattling, at least for now...

Re: temporarily fixed t-top rattling

Haha, sometimes it's the little things that solve problems. My wife got really mad at me one day when we were dating and I had my old Camaro, it was pouring rain, and the weatherstrip had seperated on the passanger window causing a drip into the car. SO she was gussied up to go out and was tired of getting wet and demanded I do something right then and there. Well, I couldn't some up with anything conventional, so I asked her for her purse for a second, took a glance in it, and wouldn't you know as a woman always being prepaired, she had a tampon in it, so filled the gap with that, and it stayed there for the remaining 3 years I had the car
