Service Engine Soon Light Flashing

I have a 96 corsica, with at transplanted 3.1 from a 96 grad prix. I have some reservations of the vacuum line routing, and wonder if I got them wrong. I am hoping someone can assist me with the vacuum line routing, and if that can cause the check engine light to flash. It starts and runs for a short (30 seconds to a min) time before the light starts flashing. At no point does it go out. I suspect I need to verify the vacuum routing, before I can troubleshoot the check engine, but I might be wrong.

Re: Service Engine Soon Light Flashing

A flashing CEL indicates a mis-fire exists. Did you change the plugs and wires during the swap, or did you use the old parts? Make sure you have the plug wires in the proper positions and all are pushed firmly onto the plugs and coils before going any further.
