Towing a 93 Escort

Need to tow my 93 Escort 1.9L 5sp manual for 150 miles. Any trouble with just placing in neutral and have the front tires rolling? I don't think the odometer will advance - wouldn't that only occur with tranny in gear? Thanks.

Re: Towing a 93 Escort

A standard transmission Escort is great to tow. No problems. Don't know about the odometer advancing. An automatic can't be towed unless the front wheels are off the ground because the pump has to be turned by the engine to lubricate it. No problems for a standard. Pull away!
