oh oh.."volts" on the dash!
What does it technically mean if "volts" come on your dash?
I've been driving with a sound system for so long. With a High-Output Alternator, redtop under the hood, yellowtop in the trunk... i can't see why "volts" come up, i only run 1600-2000rms.... I've had sound systems before this one that made my headlights look like "i had my emergency signals on".. so does anyone have a manual around that describes why "volts" would come up...? |

Re: oh oh.."volts" on the dash!
That means the charging system cannot maintain 12.8V or higher while the engine is running. Reduce load, get a bigger alternator (or convert to a high output stator), or spin the alternator faster.
