What to lube
Hi just wondering what i can lube to stop squeeking in my suspension on my 02 xterra I had my shocks changed a 1 yr ago but the leaves spings or something sqeeks what can i do?

Not much you can do. Jack up by the frame to fully droop the suspension and open the leaves a bit, then blast high-pressure water in between the leaves to get crud out. Maybe spray some very light grease in, but it won't last too long.
Or if it's up front, try some silicone spray on the control arm bushings.

Re: What to lube
I find the more people try and quiet their leaf springs, the more noise they make. High-pressure water between the leaves has kept mine mostly quiet. Lubricants tend to attract dirt, which is what you want to avoid.

I had bigger teflon pads put onto the end of my leafs, when I had the extra leafs put in. Never had a problem, but yea you need to spray them out real good after hitting the mud.
