Need Help - Aluminum
I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I'm looking for a 4'*8' (approximately) sheet of ribbed aluminum. I need about 6-8-10 ribs per inch, and the whole thing needs to be polished. I need it to be either 1/8" or 3/16" thick face to face. Looking for the ribs to be about 1/16" deep.
The only place I could find this was some company in England and the wanted like $300 plus shipping... obviously out of my league. If there are no reasonable shops around that could make this, or sell anything close to it currently, does anyone know how to make this... maybe give me some help as to how to do it??? Thanks.

dont look just for polished stuff, polishing aluminum is very easy

Jim, check out local metal shops. They can order just about any type of sheet metal and I'm sure they could point you in the right direction if they can't get what you want.

Well, I've emailed about 10 shops and ... nothing. No response whatsoever. I guess I'll have to hit the phones again, but the last 3 places I called never answered the phones.... WTF?
