How to install a Brake light bulb

Hi,
I am trying to replace the brake light bulb on my 1994 ranger. I can get the light holder unscrewed but how do I actually get the light bulb out of the socket? I am afraid that I will break the bulb if I am not careful. PLEASE HELP because I have no brake lights!!!

just push in and turn to the left

Push in gently and one quarter turn if I remeber correctly. Then pull the mount out (may stick a lil due to age).
