Mattz Neon... And it continues...

Alright...
As you r'member the last episode of... Mattz Neon! (music plays)
Matt had damaged his Neon in a front end collision. Radiator was fixed, still looking to get an AC condensor, and get some of the body back together...
Well now I have a messed up bumper cover (a little bit) and a white stock hood and white stock fender... On my black car! I'd prefer primer above anything else. But I'ma leave it at that... I'm going for the Z3 fenders now. Never really intrested with 'em before, too many people have 'em now, but I'ma do it now. Figured lets start from scratch on my front end. Also, my hood... Probably just gonna go with the Neon Sport hood... I lyke that one. No vents, but its all gravy. Will the Neon Sport hood fit the SOHC Highline Neon?
Now, to have at that bumper cover, I'ma go with a body kit soon... I lyke that R33 kit... I know its not super agressive, but it works. I really like that, call me crazy.
Well any suggestions... Post 'em!

Matt... M.Dawg

Yes, a stock DOHC hood will fit on a SOHC Neon and vice versa. My ex fiance's old Neon was a highline with a sport hood.

He sold it to one of our best friends a month ago.

Re: Mattz Neon... And it continues...

The DOHC hood will fit on a SOHC engine with no problems but if you try the other way, some of the SOHC hood bracing will need to be cut out to fit on a DOHC engine. This is needed to clear the extra cam gear on the DOHC engine.

* Mod Statement* I know this post may be old, but I am trying to answer the questions with no/wrong replies, to get some useful info out there.
