My car is finally lowered! I have questions!

Finihsed up lowering my ride last night. I used coil overs and have it almost as low as it will go. My front tires do this / \ Will an alignment fix this problem? Thanks!

Lowering

When the top of your wheels tilt in like that it's called negative camber. No an alignment will not fix the camber. You will need to get a camber kit to correct that. I would go ahead and get an alignmnet done now to make sure that the toe is okay but i would get an camber kit soon before you eat up your tires. After you get a camber kit on go and get an alignment again.

Hey whats up,
I just had my camber and alignment done about 2 weeks ago. I bought the Ingalls kit for the front. First of all, let me say that you need to know what height you are gonna drive your ride so you can set the camber and alignment at that height. So, maybe you need to drive it like it is for a lil while and make sure it is what you want where it is.
Second of all, it cost me $123 to get my kit installed, camber adjusted and aligment done on top of the $80 or so for the kit...and you thought you got a good deal on coil overs. SURPRISE!! It's not cheap to alter suspension, correctly. Anyway, that's my input. Make sure you get a kit with good adjustment, ex: +/- 3 degrees.

Nobody has mentioned this but you need to do the rear too. It will have to have the toe set also.

i knew that it was going to happen but i just wanted to know if an alignment would fix it. this was not my first dropped car just my first drop this low. i can always raise it up if needed but this is my beater car. i used drop zone coil overs with kyb shocks.

If your wheels have a bad tilt you could have busted ball joints. Jack the car up and see if the wheels are shaky. If so you need new Upper Control Arms.

Anything less than 2'' and you don't NEED a kit, but you should still get one to prevent uneven wear.
