Re: which ECU Chip for my p28 ecu

those generic chips off ebay are junk....if you have a p28, just chip it yourself... youll like the outcome MUCH better.. (PS..why do you want to chip your ECU?)

i was told by other people online that with the D15B7 swap to the D16Z6 VTEC engine that the Po6 chip would not run as good as the P28 because of the change from the 1.5L honda engine to the 1.6L VTEC. On ebay the chips are made by Spoon and M-Gen. If these are junk where could i find a better chip. thanks

Re: which ECU Chip for my p28 ecu

dont waste your time on chips....if you ever do enough work to justify a dyno tune, have it tuned and have them burn you a chip. I dont think any of those other chips really do a damn thing....

Re: which ECU Chip for my p28 ecu

if your getting a d16z6, why dont you just get a p28 ecu and let it run the way honda designed it to?

Right now im kinda strapped for money the swap was already done by someone else and he didnt do the best job. i have to replace the alternator motor mounts swap the intake to the VTEC intake get a new exahust and get the car legal. i just bought the car about 4 days ago. so i have a lot of work and other parts that i have to buy and i was wanting to go the cheapest way with the ecu change but not if it wasnt worth it. thanks everybody for the help

well u could chip your ecu and put a p28 fuel map on it....that way your current ecu would run as if it were a p28

Re: which ECU Chip for my p28 ecu

*REMOVED* it dosnt take a fn genious to program a rom. you juz have to be specific is it an automatic...is it a sohc are all the chips installed the right way.... ok i buy chips on ebay all the time i chip all my friends cars and they all work perfect the technology is almost out dated for burning rom chips iz not hard... the best place to buy your chip from is a dealer on ebay called *REMOVED SPAM* he knows his stuff very well and can get you the right chip if your very specific.. hes never done me wrong please *REMOVED*.. and the codes have been perfected...

Problem #1... Your about 2 years too late to this party.
Problem #2... Your attitude which includes toward a mod...

Check your attitude at the door or don't come back, this is your one and final warning.
