I'm from Vancouver, but I'm living in Courtenay on Vancouver Island... I'm moving back to the mainland in about a year though. Gonna sell my shop, and start up again in the mainland...

Im hoping to get the new Evolution 8's that are coming to North America in 1st quarter 2003. AWD just sounds so damn good with 275hp and high torque.

yo wait hold up...evo 8?! the lancer evo 8? i never knew there was a lancer evo 8 in japan...i know the lancer evo 7 is comming to North America in 2003...

If you are refering to the Lancer Evo 7, it will not be the same car as the Japanese model, they will lower the horsepower and some performance will be lost in the North American version..your looking at 260hp tops, maybe less... with a price range of around 32,000.

If you really want that ugly lancer tho, wait for the Evo 7 GSR model to come out. Im sure you will be far more happy with that. Do alittle research on it..im sure you will find what you like.

Ok, the evo 7 has already stopped production in japan,which has been said a few months ago, so most likely the evo 8 will come to north america, not the 7. Yea, the evo 7 is toned down compared to the 6.. but rumor has it that it will be back up on par with the 6 in terms of hp, torque with the new 8...

The evo 7 isnt that ugly. I thought that at first, but i eventually grew on me. You just have to look at it at different angles to appreciate it more. Though it is no means prettier then the 6, its not too bad... at least we are getting a evolution though = )

Is it just me, or did they ugly up the new Lancer? I look at the LanEvo 6, then the 7, and it's like, WTF man! I think the older scoobies looked better too...

oh, and yeah, the evolution 8 is suppposed to have a world launch , not just in japan first. And its supposed to be launced in first quarter of 2003... same launch as the north american evolution.

The WRX is getting a facelift before the end of the year. I've seen a few pictures of it but the one I like best is in the latest R&T. Too bad I cant find that picture online or I would sho u guys

Anyone seen the new Toyota Super Sport GT? It looks really sweet, they say it has a V10 based off of Toyotas Formula 1 motor, 5.0 liters, 450-500 hp. They say it may have AWD, and it should weigh around 3200lbs. Oh yeah, its mid engined too

The new Supra is on the drawing board too, it's styling draws heavily from the 2000GT, and has weird headlights... Apparently, they are think of using both the V6 in the Lexus ES300 punched out to 3.5 liters, and the V8 from the LS430.
