no speedometer

speedometer doesnot work at low speeds but will start to work at about75-80mph. Replaced speedometer sensor still no luck

which sensor did you replace?

I used to have a 99 ram 1500, and when the spedo quit working, it was because the sensor on the rear dif. had gone bad.
and if I remember correctly, the one on the rear axle is for low speed, and the sensor in the trans is for high speed, so if you only replaced the one in the trans, that could explain why it still isn't working at low speeds.

if you did change the one in the dif., when you pulled the old one out, did it have a lot of metal shavings on it? if so, and if you didn't change the dif oil, there could still be enough metal shavings in there to cause the new sensor to not work properly.
