E. JAN to make 1/20 MC12?

Does anyone know if this is meant to be 1/24 and not 1/20?

It would make more sense if this were a transkit for the Enzo being they would only have to make the body basically and use the parts they made for the FXX.

Re: E. JAN to make 1/20 MC12?

Hi Veyron,

It's a typo on HLJ's site. The kit is a curbside coming in 1/24 scale. They are doing three versions including the Red Bull car. I may have to add that one to the Red Bull collection :-)

Regards,

Ron

I've seen the printed material on the kit at GPMA where the same question was asked, HLJ screwed up by misreading the sheet. The MC12 kits are 1/24.

HLJ is getting a bit too big IMHO. With HLJ taking at least a week (sometimes longer) to simply process an order and ship it when items are in stock, they really need help. They screw up a lot of listings, take forever to ship...the only reason I order from them is I'm familiar w/them and they will ship SAL; if I have to pay for EMS shipping I'll buy elsewhere. Order anywhere else w/EMS and even from Japan to the US takes only a few days. Order from HLJ to US via SAL and one week to ship out, two weeks to arrive...three weeks total. Or at least a week longer w/EMS vs. their competition because they have a 7-10 day backlog of getting new orders out the door.

Right on. I've moved to Modelexpress.net (the best kept secret in online model retail) and Best1hobby. Between them, I can find most anything I want. I've come to the realization that I don't need kits as soon as they are out anyway, it's not like I build them right away.
