Re: Hardstart/oil Drop

You can remove and clean the IAC stepper motor to solve the idle rise at cold start.

As for the oil pressure, you might want to verify the gauge indication with a separate, mechanical pressure gauge.

Re: Hardstart/oil Drop

Smoke could merely be blowby or crankcase vapors escaping. It is not a good indication of running pressure. When the gauge indicates low pressure, is there any unusual engine noise, such as lifters tapping, or dull thuds/hammering noise?

Re: Hardstart/oil Drop

The Oil Still Drops To About The Middle Which Is Normal I Guess
When I Had The Oil Pressure Sender Changed They Must Have Used A Heavy Oil Like A Ten 10/40 20 /50 Where I Used A 10/30 That Put My Gage In The Middle. I Guess? Cause Like I Said When It Gets Going The Heat Thins The Lite Oil. I Could Be Wrong .
