New Trans @ 177K
I guess the don't last. Only 177K on the 97 Cherokee. OK, so it towed a trailer for the 1st 97K. This is humor folks, I am very happy. It is a 4x4 with the straight 6 engine. Install cost was $1800.

Hopefully, you had an external cooler. If not, they cost 50 bucks. I put one on when my 97 was new, because my brother who is a tech at Chry-Jeep says all Chrysler trannys burn up because they don't install an ext. cooler. Especially the minivans. Good thing the XJ has a Japanese trans (the auto anyway).
