Anyone know how to rewire an "06 so driving lights come on with the parking lights?

I got used to parking/driving lights together, I can't believe you have to use them with the headlights on this thing. Anyone ever wire around this?

Sounds like you are referring to the blinker mod.
Its easy to do...
If you pull the parking light socket out, you will see the third port is plugged with a plastic cap.
Remove the cap, and run a jumper wire from the marker lights to that port.
Hot glue it in place so it doesnt move.

I have never heard of the "blinker Mod"...can it possibly be that easy? What I am trying to do is mimic the operation of every other vehicle with driving lights that I have ever owned....parking lights ON, driving lights work. Not this whacky they only work when your headlights are on.

Does the "blinker mod" accoplish this?

Every vehicle I've ever owned had the foglights wired to the headlights, not the parking lights.

On the 05+ tacos, the turn signal bulbs ( on the insides of the headlights) do not come on with the headlights or the running lights.
I assume this is what the OP is referring to.
Case and point, following the directions above that I put in will solve this problem.

I'm still not sure if we are talking about the same thing.....I had a Durango prior to this truck, just as it was getting dark, I could turn on the parking lights and also turn on the white fog/driving lights in the loger front bumper without the headlights being ON. On this '06 Taco, I can't get the white driving lights to come ON unless the headlights are ON. What I want to accomplish is: parking lights ON, driving lights ON, headlights OFF. When the headlights are ON, the driving lights can be ON too, when the high beams are ON, the driving lights go OFF.

That was what I was talking about. It is commonly wired that way in Japanese vehicles. I think XRobber is thinking of something else.

When I had a Honda Accord, I wired my fog lights to come on with the parking lights, simply by attaching the fog light power circuit to the parking light power circuit under the dash. I just found a circuit that powered on with 12 V when the parking lights were turned on.

Dude... you just want the fog light mod.
That was the First mod I did to my truck.
Basically, you can turn the fog lights on with or without the headlights.
Regardless of where the headlight switch is, you can turn the fog lights on or off.
If you do what a lot of us in Orlando do,
Do the fog light mod and leave them on all the time. They shut off with the key anyhow, so its kinda like driving lights....

I find it amazing that people continue to drive with those lights on for some reason. I'm not sure if they think it's a cool thing to do or what.

But I give out about six or seven tickets a week for driving with those lights on. Everyone says, "I didn't know I couldn't do that..."

I surely don't mean to drive after dark with parking and driving lights only. I am refering to dusk driving before headlights are needed.

I drive with my fogs on 24/7.
During the day just the fogs and at night both the fogs and my headlights.
I have been driving that way for a year, and have not had any problems.

I'm sure it's illegal in a lot more places then NV. It seems that in the entire northern sector of this state there are only three or four of us that write cites for that.

I have a Tacoma with those lights also. For some reason it seems to give me a headache when I have them on so I don't use them. Well, I do use them when I'm driving off road at night. They seem to bounce off the eyes of the wild life better then the regular headlights.
