Hi am new to this forum, earlier i had to go to work. My truck did'nt start, and wont start, my housband is trying to find some answers in the village at the moment, i am trying on the forum. I did as usual, but this time, it this a noise sounding like my old truck, i had in the past, when it wont start, it kind of want to but did'nt, my housband think it could be the gas pomp. If it was?? what noise would it make?? HELP i live 15 mins from the village, i dont want to be stock here for the rest of my life, hihi. ok help me. my housband is coming now, talk to you later, i am staying on line.C., the garagist, said it could be no more pressure in the pomp, maybe the injectors computers, dont give the signal, or electronics modules. whow i think it is gonna cost a lot lot of money, sorry i am trying my best for the description, my first language is french, and I know nothing about this new technology for trucks etc. C. Thanks in advance. C.

Re: silverado, 2000, wont start.

I always check the simple things first, as I am assuming you have. The battery is always something to check(is it dead or are the cables dirty?). Then, as simple as it might sound, check if there is fuel in the tank(my father, God rest his soul, forgot to fill the tank one time!). Then you move on to more in depth things like starter problems, fuel pressure problems, etc.. But, without more in depth descriptions of what is going on, it might be a bit hard for others to try and diagnose. Let us know how it is going.

Sincerely,
Matt

Hi, i thank you for answering my post. I know my description is not clear, tomorrow my housband, will start to look into it. I will post again, with more clarity, what is going on. The gaz is full, the battery is fine. So this is it for now. So tomorrow, my post will be more precise, oh i forgot, the pump makes noise, the truck doesn't start but the pomp at this time, seems to be working. Tks. C.
