Hello from 70 Challenger Newbie

Hello folks!
I'm new to this forum so I'd like to say "hello" to all the other Muscle Car freaks around here!

I'm really in Mopar Muscle Cars and I'm currently busy with the restoration of a 1970 Dodge Challenger. Yeah, it will be a replica of the car used in the movie "Vanishing Point". Hell, I love this movie!

While this project is in progress, I enjoy driving my 73 Challenger and my Road Runner. Old cars, sure, but still nice to drive. Sometimes even for daily use.

Cheers,
Steve

Re: Hello from 70 Challenger Newbie

Hea Mopar fans! Newbie here also. I'm 49. Many years ago I had a 70 Challenger that I had restored. I think it was the best looking muscle car ever made! Well that is until the the 82 Firebird/Camaro came out and that is when I sold mine. As the 80's rolled on thats all I seen was Camaro's and F'Birds every where! And yes even I came close to buying one, but I thought what would I have? That everyone else already owns.
Old Challengers began looking real good again! I so regret selling this car!
The 70 Challenger TA/340 was my favorite.
Oh PS > Vanishing Point got me interested in them when I was young also.
The 2008 will never have the class of the original. What a car the 70 was!
