Cell Phone Providers

I have been without a cell phone for quite some time now, and I think that I should get one again, even though I am not a huge fan of radiation . I am not sure what kind of plan or company I should go with, so help me out. First off, I don't want to spend too much money, I will not talk a lot on it, just for emergencies and such things. I was thinking prepaid Tmobile cause that I what I had before, but are there any other cheap plans or other prepaids??

maybe look into Virgin's plans? i really don't know. i use mine all the time so i have a pretty beefy plan.
