diff question

i got the rear end with my front clip. it was the 98 with a blktop s13. i know that my 240 has the vlsd but i was thinking about swapping out the whole rear end with the jdm one to completly get rid of the hicas system on my car. my question is, does anyone know what kind of a differential came in that car?

Re: diff question

im guessing you mean you got a 1998 180sx front clip...if so, the turbo 180sx models should have the same vlsd as you have, and if im not mistaken, they also usually have hicas standard. just get a hicas eliminator bar. much easier.
