headlight question/suggestion

when i bought my car it came with low beams that are a bluish green color and i like them because they are different and i dont see many cars with lights like mine but one of them blew out and i dont know what kind they were. does anyone know what kind they might be? or should i get something like a hyperwhite bulb instead and make it look like a BMW or something like that?

Re: headlight question

Errr... You can have the 9005ST ones. I just realized the 9006st fit my PT cruiser's fog lights. Woot! I've been wanting brighter ones.

Re: headlight question

Re: headlight question

it turns out i bought some cheap lights that are 55 watts but claim to be as bright as 100 watts(i only saw the 100 watts on the box so i bought them) so now i am going to return them and get good ones(at least 80 watts cuz thats what my old ones were) so what are some good brands to look for that give the car the look of a BMW or Lexus?

i was looking at the silver star lights but they are only 60 watts, are they still good?

Re: headlight question

Silver stars are bright as hell. People use to always flash their high beams at me when i was comming by. I then in return would flash my SS highs and it got the point across. Only thing brighter than SS bulbs are the PIAA Hyper whites. Those are 10 bucks more for a double pack then the silver stars. At my work they are 48 sumthin for a set.

Re: headlight question

Gotta remove the main headlights and then you just reach your arm in through there.

Re: headlight question

I dont like the silver star bulbs go with something that has more of a blueish tint to it, I have these on mine

Ps: I'll sell ya mine if you would like, I have those ^ for the lows with upgraded harnesses and then then I have Eurolites for the highs.

Re: headlight question

dude, you could so ebay those lights and get them both for like 15 bucks shipping included. That's what I did, lol. 9005 is low beam and 9006 is high beams.

Re: headlight question

too much blue or akward colors, your just going to draw attention to yourself cop wise. Silver stars have the same color output as the white in HID kits, just not as bright.
