The bass just doesnt sound right.
I have an MA audio 1800w amp pushing 4 black sony explode 10"s in two sealed boxes in the trunk of my 1999 plymouth breeze.
Now i have a good bit of bass but yet it seems that it just isnt hitting like the 2 audiobahn 10"s i had in my 280z a couple of years ago. And all that was pushing it was a dual 480w amp. I know some of the stuff is cheep, but barring having to buy new subs what can i do?

Re: The bass just doesnt sound right.
The bass output of a sedan will never approach that of a hatchback, that's probably what you're experiencing.

yep, although playing with the location and direction of the speakers in the trunk may help quite a bit.
