Re: Brake Fluid Capacity?
very good question. i searched/asked the same question on 3si when i was installing my SS braided brake lines. our system holds less than 3 pints (12 fl. oz. per pint, IIRC). so if you get 3, than you'll have enough in case you spill some. but you'll probably use all 3 pints, or close to it, b/c you'll want to bleed the entire brake system (since its probably never been done for the life of your car) and put new fluid in.
i heard speedbleeders suck. just have a friend help you bleed the system. work one caliper at a time. by the way, what brake stuff did you end up getting?

Re: Brake Fluid Capacity?
I actually found a much cheaper way out than the list i posted previously. I found a company called iRotors. They sell stuff mainly on eBay, but you can buy from them directly over the phone, too (which is what i did.)
I got Axxis Ultimate ceramic pads, SS braided lines, and zinc plated drilled/slotted rotors for $444 shipped. I forget what company they said they got their rotor blanks from, but i did recognize the name. I'll have to ask them again. theire web site is here: http://www.irotors.com/products/16-1.shtml anyway, thanks for the info! |
