Acceptable voltage

I have a '94PA for about two weeks now and I notice that sometimes the votage gauge is straight up at 13 and sometimes it is a notch or two higher on the gauge scale. ( i don't know what the scale is because there is an uneven seperation between notches from 13 to 18)
Is this something I should worry about or is there an acceptable range?
It is a steady voltage for the duration of the engine running, regardless of where it reads, it does not fluctuate while driving unless I use the turn signal.

Wink Re: Acceptable voltage

A good alternator will charge in the range of 13.8 to 14.5 volts! I don’t think you have anything to worry about!
