buying a system??
im trying to buy and amp and a subwoofer for around 300$ i was looking at the Kicker ZX200.2 amp and the kicker TC10 sub but im really not sure what i should look at when buying an amp and sub for a small mazda 6 if anyone has any suggestions on what brands are good or even more specifically on what to buy or look at i would greatly appreciate it

How much bass are you looking for. Those kickers sound decent with the right amount of power but that being in a truck box means it has less volume than a decent sized car box. Ive been looking at kicker solo-barics since re has been going under and charging more then enough to buy a used civic for a sub. solo-barics pound hard but they dont sound the greatest unless the enclosure is built to perfect specs, and power is just right. Ive also used infinity perfects and loved the way they sounded no distortion, hit hard with less than half rms power. Also check out ascendantaudio.com and look at there assasin series right now there on sale for 90 for the 12's. This used in either a sealed 1.0-1.5cuft enclosure would sound nice, im getting ready to get one for my girls cavalier.

Cant remember who posted it but if you see it give yourself credit Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota. Cardomain
