Re: Ugly Headlight

If the clear parts of the lights are scuffed up and nasty there are products available to bring them back to close to original. If the insides are deteriorated the only way to repair that is to replace them with new ones. You can get the cleaner for the clear parts at Advance Auto or search the web for headlight restorer.

Re: Ugly Headlight

personally Id get the clear headlight casing, no yellow on the side... very sexy.. with some HID or just a bright ass bulb like you see in newer BMWs with the blue tint =)

Re: Ugly Headlight

the dull ones can be tricky to polish, sometimes they wont clear up .
I thought Mothers Polish had some stuff for that purpose.
I need some of thier wheel polish!

Re: Ugly Headlight

Gir-_- mentioned HID headlights. I don't think these are even available for GA's, are they?

I dont know of any at this time. A couple yrs back I saw some 300watt HID light kit, it had a new wire harness and some other stuff you needed to install.

The problem I heard, was that they melted the headlight housings So I dont think they are around anymore.

Re: Ugly Headlight

yeah.. my headlights are disgusting to look at, it makes me sick. There were a couple different varieties on ebay for new ones w/o the orange sides.. for 170-180 a pair... but now they're gone. I bought Meguier's "PlastX" at Advance Auto to try and clean mine up a bit... but it did nothing at all, so stay away from that.
