Ford Shelby GR-1

Hey! Yes, another Ford product! I decided to do something different and go with graphite pencils/smooth paper this time.

Later, B

Re: Ford Shelby GR-1

Ok, so what makes this car ugly? I realize it's not a rice burner or a European exotic that most of you guys draw, but c'mon. 0-60 mph in less than 4 seconds...

Thanks for the comments! B

yeah, great, except that ... uhm ... maybe they don't like you to stop on the motorway to try it out.

no, this is just an ugly car.

Re: Ford Shelby GR-1

you shouldent be so concerned about how ugly or good lookin people think the car is that you drew. You posted you drawing up here so we could comment on the drawing itself, not the car.

Its an ugly car, and being a ford dosent help it out much.

Re: Ford Shelby GR-1

hmm. m mkay.. so far it's pretty good, really.

do a version or overlay of a lowered chin spoiler (front). that will "aggressivfy" the front end a bit. overlay a version w/sideskirt treatments, and fatten and define the rear more. for kicks. these mods will de-ugly the car.

as well, your rear tire/wheel looks as if it's steering, too. the angle is incorrect. the ellipse of the rear needs to be a little narrower. right now, the car looks like both the front and back wheels are steering and turning.

overall, it's really good. just bake it a little more. you've payed most attention to the wheel details. so far, that is.
