well it went out... any ideas where i can get a new one and how much am i looking at for one...this sucks

i always buy all my parts from partsamerica.com..if you have a checkers/shucks/kragen near your house, print out the page..where it has the lower price (116$..) and then take it there, they'll price match it for ya. 400->120, not bad eh?

hm, im not really sure.. but yeah, as long as you're down there changing the opti make sure you change everything and get good wires too..since its such a hassle.. be sure to check out that site tho, they have really good discounts!

so what do you think? should i got with the acdelco, the whole unit for $358 or the opti like you said(which i think doesnt include the cap and rotor)??? let me know

If your down there changing it, I would get the whole unit. Optis are the dumbest thing GM ever did to these cars. I know MSD has their own version of the opti, its not much cheaper (if at all) but I haven't heard anything bad about them yet.
