Update to noise while idleing

A while back I wrote about a noise which I first thought was brake related while completly stopped. When I let off the brake the noise would go away, or if I shifted to neutral or park it went away. I convinced myself it was not brake related and started to think it had something to do with the AC compressor because if I turned it off, the noise would go away also. Well, after that theroy bombed last week, I had the opportunity to take it in today and have it looked at. Previously I had had MIDAS look into the problem from the start, since I thought it may have been a brake problem, and they came back and said it was motor mounts.

Well, I have to give MIDAS credit, they were right. The shop I took it to today said the same thing, and I told them nothing about the MIDAS trip. Bottom line, they fixed it, cost $407. Would have done it myself but considering what had to be done to replace, it was money worth spending, plus, I get to do whatever I want now on Saturday.
