2005 Chevy Cavalier


The 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier offers the standard 2.2-liter Ecotec L4 SFI engine, standard 5-speed 4-cylinder manual transmission, and four-speed automatic within Traction assist as optional to all Cavaliers. It has 140 horsepower at 5600 and torque of 150 pounds per feet at 4000 rpm. This engine is designed to perform smoothly with low emissions, so as good gas mileage. It features the chaindrive system and the valve train that has lash adjusters is durable for the life of the vehicle, and needs no maintenance according to Chevy. The engine has a full-circle transmission attachment, more rigid than mostly of the 4-cylinder powertrains, making the noise and vibration lesser.

The gas mileage is estimated to be 26 mpg on city and 33 on highway drive with the standard manual transmission, while 24 mpg on city and 33 on highway when using the four-speed automatic. Cavalier models offer added heat duct route warm air located under the front seats to the rear of the car. Also offered is an adjustable tilt wheel steering column that makes a feeling of comfortable ride as if in a sedan and or in a coupe. Chevy Cavalier is also offering Radio Data System that include 6-speaker sound system with rear woofers and tweeters, front coaxial speakers, and volume that automatically increases during acceleration. Included in the RDS is a theft deterrent feature Theft-Lock. It also features a digital quality of sound with 100 music channels, news, sports and talk, ranging in 17 program categories.

he's saying get more of a front view and a 2dr pic of an aveo and you'll see, i agree with him. That cavy was probly just a prototype or concept idea, like steve said. I'm not a fan, I don't like the 03+ style but I'd take one of them anyday over that 05 thing.

no no the 4 door aveo was right, there is one right here on the street at my work and it looks alot like it, maybe and the pictures i found sucked but go to chevy.com and look up aveo and they have a 5 door versior or something

Looks more like a dodge caliber crossed with a civic front end and an aveo grill mesh.
