Donington Museum Pics

I have the week off work so I took a trip to the Donington Museum today with a friend.Mostly because I wanted to see some of the cars that Ayrton Senna drove during his McLaren years.I was particularly interested in the 1991 MP4/6 as I have just aquired the Studio 27 1/20th model which I will be building in the future.I took along a sample of Tamiya TS 36 that I had sprayed over a white basecoat to see how it compared to the 'real' thing. One thing that struck me was that the real paint is much more orange and the TS 36 is more of a red/pink.I think when I build mine I will try to get hold of the Finishers MP4 red instead of the TS 36.Anyway here's a few pics that I took.

Williams FW10 (I really liked the look of this Williams)

Williams FW11

Williams FW13B (one of my favourite's and one I would like to model someday)

The impressive lineup of McLarens MP4/5 nearest to MP4/11 farthest away.

McLaren MP4/6

McLaren MP4/6

McLaren MP4/2

This was also one of my favourites the Jordan in the 7UP colours.
