Donington Museum Pics
I have the week off work so I took a trip to the Donington Museum today with a friend.Mostly because I wanted to see some of the cars that Ayrton Senna drove during his McLaren years.I was particularly interested in the 1991 MP4/6 as I have just aquired the Studio 27 1/20th model which I will be building in the future.I took along a sample of Tamiya TS 36 that I had sprayed over a white basecoat to see how it compared to the 'real' thing. One thing that struck me was that the real paint is much more orange and the TS 36 is more of a red/pink.I think when I build mine I will try to get hold of the Finishers MP4 red instead of the TS 36.Anyway here's a few pics that I took.
