Re: Lowerthebass.org

In a way, I agree with the site. I do have a system of my own. It's a bandpass with two 10s, but I have it tuned to blend in with my speakers and it sounds great. However, these "boomers" basically whip together a bunch of subs, or maybe a couple, and crank the amp as far as it'll go. They don't even try to blend it in with the regular speakers. All they care about is bass. Hell, they probably don't even bother replacing their factory speakers with something that sound better. No. They add more bass to it and too much of it.

Re: Lowerthebass.org

So i guess going to concert, race track, or any other high noise level event isnt the same concept.

I like these from the "is there really a problem" section

Impedes learning and cognitive development processes
Evokes hypertension
Leads to aggressive behavior
Causes stress and sleep loss
Leads to depression

depression, sleep loss, agressive beahaivor

i love stupid people

and there is more

Boom car operators are often associated with many other types of crimes.

Boom car equipment manufacturers base their marketing platform on senseless aggression, social agitation, and the destruction of the well-being of decent citizens.

Boom cars are often used to announce the receipt of a new drug shipment to a neighborhood.

Property values decrease in affected areas

my personal favorite

audio terrorism LOL wtf. Im going to agree with playstation i thik we need to find the founder and pull our own noriega on them. Im still laughing from how stupid this is

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

Re: Lowerthebass.org

They will not authorize me access to their forum .... imagine that. All I can say is, they need to find a better neighborhood because I don't know where the things they talk about go on. Every once in a while, you hear a car booming.

Re: Lowerthebass.org

I rarely do and when i have the occasion its not like they make it out to be, Im about 100 yards from my street its not even close to being that bad. I also love how all there crime involvement had nothing to what so ever with bass in cars, they had small mentions like " and she couldnt hear over the cars stereo". What does this have to do with crime if a person gets distracted that easily that they cant look out the back window of a car they dont need to be driving.
