My 2000 Gmc Jimmy W/ 4.3 Liter V6, Died At The Bank Drive Through And Refuses To Start. It Turns Over And The Fuel Pump Is Working. I Had Recently Filled Up With Gas, And Now Notice That The Fuel Guage Reads Empty, With Low Fuel Light Lit. However The Tank Is Full. Any Suggestions?
Is It Possible To Get The Codes From The Ignition? Lesley |

Re: 2000 Gmc Jimmy Quit And Won't Start
Is it possible someone may have punched a hole in your gas tank, stole your gas, leaving enough in the tank to get you to the drive through? Do you park outside overnight? Where were you parked prior to going to the bank? Put a couple gallons of gas in it and see if the Fuel Guage still Reads Empty or if the gas runs out on the ground.
