Re: Whoa, nelly

Looks like some one gone have some fun a while ahead

Where did you buy them from ? hlj.com ?

I saw one or two kits I would like myself. Like the Supra.

But what is it about the Trueno kits? I find them rather ugly, but thats me.

Re: Whoa, nelly

Well i dont find the Trueno any cool or anything. At least not from the box photos. But maybe you can tell me whats so wow about it. I looks like I am one of very few, that feel that way.

have you heard of initial d..? The main character's car is a trueno, and I think that's what made them popular. I personally don't really like em either

great collection of kits you got there

The Trueno is more of sentimental value than looks. If modified correctly it kicks in drifting. Like Jaymes said the Trueno AE-86 and AE-85 cars 1:1~1:XX were made extremely popular when the comic Initial-D was put out. That was a good 10 years ago. Then made popular when the cartoons came out and were shown world-wide. Factory tuned.. the AE-86 sucks. If correctly modified it is prolly the cheapest and most effective drift trainer there is. Kinda like the way the Air Force uses A5's to train instead of F16's or what-not.
