Power Windows not working.

I've had a variety of electrical problems, mainly the fuel pump running on because the ignition had not turned off completely due to the key lock not being completely in the off position when the car was parked.

I even had a strange situation where the heater fan was going even though it was switched off.

At the same time the windows stopped working. Everything else seems back to normal but I can't get them to operate. Any ideas?

NOt sure the last item is related to previous problems....
Failure in power windows are frequently related to switch failure onthe driver side. Also, the power window breaker is in the convenience center under glove box: exchange with similoar breaker just beside for a test.

ABout the heater fan, in case "switched off" means speed control was to leftmost position, the fan will indeed still run at a very slow speed. Only way to stop it conpletely is pushg the OFF button.
