looking for an SVT
I have a 97 blazer thats has stole the lost dollar from my pocket. That this was a MONEY trap. I was looking to get something smaller and better gas milage. Im getting about 13 MPG on 33/12.50. Any way i want somthing thats gonna be fun to drive and will be ok in the snow. i was looking at a GSR integra but i think there a little to small. But i know they can take a beating. I wanted to know if you guys know how well the SVT focus's hold up. Im gonna need it to last me a soild 4 years to finish of school and i dont want to worry about major tranny or engine issues. Im not gonna kill it, but i do wind out some gears once and while. If any one knows much about them or could give me a suggestion id appreicated it alot. Thanks

Re: looking for an SVT
the SVT is a great car, but the gearing isnt for the 1/4 it more for the autoX track, keep that in mind.

Re: looking for an SVT
SVT is a good solid car that died before it's time, but as Altec said it's more for autoX than the straight line, not to say that it's slow (faster than the old Civic Si) but it's a good car that begs you to take it to the twisties, if you have some nice sweeping roads near where you live, you'll love it
