clunking sound
Today while backing out of a driveway, I could hear a scraping sound. Has happened before when backing out of this driveway as it has a high curb. But this time, when I made a left turn I could hear a clunking sound in the front right side. Sounds like it is right around the tire. What have I done now?? Car is '93 cavalier. Hope someone can help.

Re: clunking sound
Worn strut mount, Shot wheel bearing, Bad CV joint. Usually 1 of those 3.

Re: clunking sound
Sway bar link may be rusted out and broke. My 94 did the same thing

thanks all for your replies. Turns out a bushing had come off a tie rod end, so after replacing the tie rod end and a front end alignment its running good as new.
