99 continental keyless entry

Can anybody help the keyless entrypad does not work I found the 5 digit code
in the trunk but can't get it to work.

Hey Jesse -- Welcome here!
Does any function of the keypad work? How about the "LOCK" function?
To lock all doors <keys in your hand> depress two buttons simutaneously;
7/8 9/0
All door will lock if the keypad is working...

Another possibility is the fuse.

Thanks. Yes I have tried 7/8 9/0 buttons but nothing and fuse is good.

when you push the buttons on the keypad is it lighting up?By the way,how long has it been not working?.I know water getting into it can cause that...It happened to mine when we got alot of rain and when it dried out it worked again.


These are possible causes for that not working...Circuitry. Switches.There may be a problem with your LCM(lighting control modual)or there could be a short in the panel itself.

Yes all the buttons light up when I press the 1/2 button. I have had the car for 1 month. I notice today that the interior lights come on by themself for about a minute or so I wonder if thats part of the problem.

do you meen they come on when you hit the buttons on the keyless entry panel?....if so then that is normal...on my car when you hit any button on the keypanel the lights dim up then dim down after about a minute...If thats not what you meen then i would defenatly have the LCM and the DDM checked out.It could just be the panel itself to.The lights may be on but noone is home...lol
