I was reading the faq and wanted to add.

I have owned many 3kgt's and stealths (all sort of models) and agree with the tt's 0-60's and q mile if you take best times. But I had a stealth rt na manual shift that ran a 14.5 at 97. All it had replacement was a kn drop in air filter which doesn't give crap for horsepower (none ? .1 gain maybe). That's all I wanted to say and I thought the na guys and gals would be very interested.

14.5 on a stock n/a? Do you have a timeslip or vid you could entertain us with?

I have heard of very excellent run coming in at a 14.9 but never mid 14's. If this has been done I would really like to see it because without proof I find it hard to believe.

Wish I still had it. Unfortunately, I owned that particular car back in the late 90's and don't have much besides a few pic's of the car. So I guess it's just my word, but I just wanted people to know that my car ran that time on that particular run. That's all. Sorry about the slip.

Rofl. I thought that said "I was reading the fag". Also, altitude? Weather? 14.5 seems rather low for bone stock.

Re: I was reading the faq and wanted to add.

So you set a new record for an stock NA 3000gt...but unfortunantly don't have the timeslip any more??? Excuse me if I don't believe you. While there are factory freaks...that seems even a bit too freakish for me to believe solely on your word. Espeically when 14.9 is extremely impressive for an NA. Try to find that timeslip, I'd love to be wrong.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

I understand why people would doubt that and thats just fine. There is nothing I can do about that nor do I care. All I wanted to do is share some of my info with ya'll. That's it for me regardless.

Re: I was reading the faq and wanted to add.

Well welcome to the forums, and I hope you hang around. But as I said, that would have been a new record for a stock NA by almost haf a second. Nobody is gonna believe that without proof, it's just the way it is...sorry.

igovert posted the norms...not the best times....best times would be like 13.3-2 and as far as 13.0 that someone did in a stealth bone stock

Re: I was reading the faq and wanted to add.

Wasn't the bone stock run a 13.1?

I have owmed a few tt's and the best times I came up with were upper 13's. I have heard of them going as low as mid 13's and now I here low 13. Sorry for the ignorance. jp
