need a little help

Ok so today i got a new mounting kit for my cars cd player cause the other 1 stuck out like 2 inches n i was gonna put that in and take the dash apart to paint it. but then i ran into a problem the 1 screw on the passenger side under the vent is stripped it just spins around then gets tight n then loose again it is pissin me off any idea of how to get it out of there without messing up the dash

get a lil piece of duct tape n stick it in where u unscrew it, and it might be able to form and shape to the contour of the bolt, then just unscrew it like u normally would, its a long shot but try it.

Or you can try grabbing it with some pliers?? Jersey's idea wasnt bad either.

Thanks guys i will try that tomaro but im pretty sure the screw is fine on the outside its stripped on the inside n i can't just pull it out with pliers

you could also take a little drill bit and drill it in there and then use the bit to take the screw out, that make any sense

Well i tried the duck tape idea but no luck then i just used a flat head screw driver n pried on it n turned it out n now my cd player dosen't stick out like 2 inches lol n i can use my cup holder they really need some better cup holders in the cavaliers i only have 1 unless i flip my center console open n still even then i only have 3

So you just pryed it with a flathead then, glad to see it worked for you. Yeah screw the cup holders in the cavy's IMO the only one that works well is the one that is in the center console when you open it, not the one that is on the bottom of the armrest but that other one.

Ya that 1 works good for cans of pop cause u can kinda close it n it wont splash on u AHHAHHA 1 of my favorite things about the interior is when people r trying to put the windows down lol they allways hit the door lock button n then get pissed hahha

hell yeah I know that is hilarious!!! my buddies do that all the time there not use to the window switch being in the center console. (which I think is pretty cool)

lol ya rember how u asked me awhile ago how the visability at night with my head light covers is well last night i was at my girl friends n shes lives in the country and when i was driving home i totaly forgot they were on then i pull put of the drive way flicked my high beams on n couldn't see like anything thing so i just left the fogs lights on then when i was allmost home i got pulled over and the cop told me next time not to drive with them on i told him i just got off work n had a 5min drive home LOL

LOL i should have said im sorry i just have super dim lights on my car or my sound system is so good it sucks all the power so my lights r dim
