Angry Ugh!!!!

I need a damn torque converter to fit a 96, but here's the problem ... i can't find one. I know what most of you are gonna say and that's that i need to get a manual transmission... well since i know you'r gonna say it don't say it and just help me out here. If anyone has info on where i can get one or if you have one and would like to exchange it for money let me know. I am in dire need and I don't exactly have the money for something high priced so if that's another thing you're gonna say then don't say it either, but if you're going to tell me that this is a futile post because there is no inexpensive solution feel free to let me know i'm running around in circles.

Re: Ugh!!!!

Go to google, type in "used auto parts" and do a search...

Or go to the yellow pages, look up "auto parts-used" and start calling some salvage yards. Our local junkyard charges around $20 for a torque converter but you gotta a) find a car and b) pull it yourself.

There may be interchangability with other cars, Sebring, Eclipse, maybe even the Neon. Many junkyards have interchange books. You can also go to an on-line auto parts site, look up the part number and see if it's the same part for the various models.
