Re: sti subaru

juanmi there is no body kit on this model unless you mean the rear spoiler and wheels, the spoiler is from aoshima spo com parts set no:120 and the wheels are mr model mirage mm4003 the wheels have been gilded gold centres.
the kit is the Subaru Impreza WRX STI no:231 from Tamiya.
maybe more pictures tommorrow.

Re: sti subaru

I think the 2-tone scheme looks really good. Looking forward to more of this.

Re: sti subaru

well here we are some more pics, got some detailing to do maybe even some foiling more pics to follow as and when i do some work.
the interior is again a custom purple and the other colour is xf 69 nato black all tamiya acrylic paint.
question should i do the windscreen and all glass as instructions or should i do what i am thinking a gold tint.

do i scrape off the mr models words from tyres or laeve as is?

Re: sti subaru

That is really cool! I like it. I wish I had the skills to do this. I suck with tiny things like models.

Re: sti subaru

That's a really clean model you got there!

If you tint the windows gold, the details of the interior will be gone forever...I would leave it as is or follow the instructions to tint the back.

Re: sti subaru

question to put on or leave off decals from the 98 safari subaru not all of them just a few like side crescents the sponsor decal from the side of the rear spoiler take and put on the rear pillars a few of the subaru ones etc...

maybe do the crescent in foil on the sides, what do some of you think

Re: sti subaru

IMO, I don't think the yellow subaru decals fit your color scheme here, if that's what you are talking about...
