Brakes Problem
Hey Ive been having this brakes problem. I replaced the pad, re-spun the rotor, and replaced the master cylinder.
Has anyone has this problem and could it be the power brakes? doesn't seem like there is enough pressure and hard to stop. ALSO....lol The dash went out, yup the whole dash If anyone has gone through this before please respond. I think its the 90 2.0 turbo? not sure

Re: Brakes Problem
you probably have to bleed the brakes.

Re: Brakes Problem
As GBH1 said, I would try bleeding the brakes. Sounds like you have air in the system. If bleeding is unsuccessful then you may have a broken line. Pump the brakes and see if they firm up. If they firm up then it is probably just air...bleed the system. If they don't, look for brake fluid either on the ground or somewhere along the brake line.
What do you mean by the dash went out. The lights or? If it's the lights, check to make sure you didn't bump the dimmer. If it's not the dimmer, check your fuse panel. If the fuses are good.....might need to replace some bulbs. My guess would be a fuse, tho, if they all went out. |
