Re: blower or charger

Welcome to AF. Is this going to be pcm controlled or a complete carbed modded 383, if so what happens to all the trans controls and emissions components? Why not put a 50 state legal supercharger on your engine.

My only concern with STS is if you live in the Northern States, that get snow, you could damage the turbo. Turbos get very hot + very cold snow = reduced strength/cracking. Of course, STS denies this, but I personally wouldn't risk the 4K. Go with a Radix Magnacharger. Again, only my opinion.

Re: blower or charger

Yeah, I could understand you concerns, but their turbos dont get as hot as engine compartment turbos, simply cause their in the open air. And another thing they are located in Orem, Utah. It gets really cold and snowy there too. But to each his own.
