need some help

i just picked up a 1980 corolla for 100$ i need some help though. I need the rear diff this one is shot. So if you could direct me to a place that has new ones or could you tell me if another toyota diff will fit. Thanks!!!

You may find a good used one at a local wrecking yard. Call them up, some wrecking yards have the ability to locate such items. For rebuilt, try a transmission shop or auto parts store.

If you are capable of rebuilding yourself, then find out exactly what is wrong with yours.

Well this one is beyond me and my dads limits. The thing thats wrong with it the guy said is that the gear is completely stripped. So i will prolly go to town sometime tommorow and check out the rebuild shops. Someone might just have the know how to fix the thing.
