Alternator Issues
Need some input, I was driving home last night when I noticed that my inside voltmeter was indicating 16 Amps....not good, I had the Alternator changed from it's original about 2 months ago. when I accelerate it will hit 16, when I let off the acceleration it is normal; also until I can put it in the shop on Mon morning is it ok to drive from point A to point B within a 5 mile radius and maybe some resolution to the problem....Thanks

Re: Alternator Issues
voltmeters read in volts, not amperes, what year is your car, and check the grounds on the alternator
