|
02 CD player won't work but Radio does?
I have a 6 disc changer and it will not work. I press the cd buttons and nothing happens. all the radio functions work but the CD player will not. Any ideas from anyone?

is this a factory cd player? does the eject work or at least make noise like it's tring to eject? if not try checking fuses and connectors. also it should have a manual eject to remove the cd's when there's no power, you might have a cd jammed in at a wrong angle.
check out this web site http://www.carstereohelp.com/ i found some tips like this on their site: Dead or no power. Before repair, check dome light, cigarette lighter and door chime. If one of these are not working properly there is a blown fuse in fuse panel. (We usually find a coin or metal object in the cigarette lighter.)
